I had the honor of spending time at Helping America’s Heroes in Fort Stanton, New Mexico, and I can’t say enough good things about this amazing place. The entire staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to helping veterans heal and feel supported.

The peaceful setting, combined with the programs they offer—from equine therapy to outdoor activities—created a space where I truly felt at ease and connected. Every detail, from the hospitality to the resources provided, shows how much heart goes into their mission

This is more than just a retreat—it’s a place of healing, growth, and belonging. I’m beyond grateful for the experience and highly recommend it to any veteran looking for support, peace, and community.

This is an amazing program, I felt as if I had come home. They offer healing and coping mechanisms with equine therapy and fly fishing, arts and crafts. It's so relaxing and you leave the world outside the gate. You're safe. This was a very positive stay for me.
